Jhana Grove is a dedicated meditation retreat centre nestled in a valley of the Darling Scarp adjacent Bodhinyana Monastery in Serpentine. It can accommodate up to 60 guests at one time each with their own room and ensuite. This allows a great deal of privacy and thus maximises the benefits of meditation practice. Connected to the cottages, by a covered walkway, is a large, air-conditioned meditation hall with three adjoining halls for the convenient practice of walking meditation. There is also a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as laundry, office, and storage facilities. A small caretakers residence completes the centre. Please go to the bottom of the page for links to the transport forum, as well as instructions on how to get to Jhana Grove. It is also known to the Buddhist world as the essential path to inner peace and eventual enlightenment. It is located on a secluded piece of land surrounded by natural forest in the hills above Serpentine, just 1km from Bodhinyana Buddhist Monastery.

Retreats can vary in length from a day or two to a few weeks or longer. What all retreats have in common is that they enable us to gain deeper experience of what we are meditating on which will naturally improve our ability to keep positive minds close to our heart in our daily life.
